Ryan M. Williams, Ph.D.

Dr. Williams is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Head of the Immune Nanomedicine Lab at the City College of New York. His research focuses on design of nanomedicines for renal disease therapy and diagnostic tools for cancer. Dr. Williams completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Daniel Heller’s lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where he was an American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellow, an Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance Mentored Investigator, and an American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Postdoctoral Fellow. He received a Ph.D. from the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences, and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Virginia.
